The week of worry

I'm not quite sure how I'm going to make it through the next two weeks. Between a biology test, math test, two competitions, practices everyday until at least 6:30, an english paper, ACT prep courses, and scheduling...I'm worried. Time is something that I don't have a lot of lately. I just need to take everything one day at a time. I know the Lord won't give me more than I can handle.

State

A few weeks ago, the Eaglettes won first in our competition! This hasn't happened since I have been a member of the squad,so as you can imagine we are all extremely excited. This week at practice is going to be really really rough. Your prayers will be appreciated. I'm not as worried about actually winning at state. Just the principle of actually getting to go is enough for me. It should be an excited weekend in Somerset, Kentucky. Go Eaglettes!

Can I or May I?

After an incident in orchestra, I've questioned the right of a teacher to allow a student to use the restroom. The class was being rewarded for our "hard work" and was watching a movie. I needed to use the restroom and thought nothing of asking the sub if I was allowed to quickly go. Shockingly she tells me that students are not permitted to use the restroom and I had to pay attention the movie. Thats nuts if you ask me! Its not like I was going to miss a vital speech, it was Drum line for heavens sake! In all seriousness, I believe a teacher does not have the right to not allow a student to use the facilities. When you gotta go, you gotta go! I should have marched straight into the restroom. But, I didn't . Maybe next time I will ;)

More ugly words.

Today during Biology, more ugly words came to my attention. These disgusting, cringe inducing
words are...gonorrhea, syphilis, and chlamydia. As if the sound of those words isn't nasty enough,
the meaning is equally sickening. If it was up to me, I would completely remove my list of
disgusting words from the English language!

What have I been waiting for?

Not many people like to admit when they are wrong, or have done something that was stupid. I also have trouble with this. But, I must admit I have been mistaken. I just knew that I would fail my drivers test whenever I took, therefore I just didn't take it. FOR FOUR MONTHS. Yesterday I finally took the test, and what do ya know? I passed :o). Life is good. I drove for the first time to practice alone. I just can't believe it! I feel like a new chapter of my life has just begun. Freedom is going to be sweetttttt.

What is silly?

I think that the silly things in life are vitally important for breaking up a monotonous (look! I used a vocab word) routine. Without the funny, goofy, and ridiculous interruptions life would be dreadfully boring. I throughly enjoy laughing until tears are brought until my eyes. I'm not really sure what else to say about silly things than...THEY ARE GRRRREAT :)

p.s. i have just been informed that a silly thing that I do is playing on Wordle. I can't help myself. Its just soo fun!
